Why 'Steren'?
Steren is the Cornish word for 'Star'. One of the many things we love about where we live and work is the 'Dark Skies' zone which not only creates a more natural environment for nocturnal species, but means the constellations and galaxies are so often visible. Stars represent hope, imagination and ambition; everything required to initiate a new and exciting project, and everything we like to embody in each new building we work with.

Meet the Architect
Born to a family of builders, architecture was a natural course for Rebecca. She studied for RIBA Part I & II at the University of Sheffield, a socially minded School of Architecture where design was driven by community need and the deprivation found in some areas of Northern towns and cities. Her subsequent work experience in London working for high-end residential practices gave another insight into beautiful detailing and materials, as well as fitting luxury accommodation into tight floor plans. Since moving to Cornwall and falling in love with the unique historic environment, her background has meant she has been able to apply her experience across a diverse range of projects and clients, working with local consultants to deliver sensitive and creative solutions in a special place she is proud to call her home.
